As part of UAE’s objectives to further boost the industrial growth in the country, UAE has started offering several incentives in the free zone. “Currently JAFZA zone has already established more than 100 fortune 500 companies and performing well. Indian establishments can also take advantage of this opportunity and make UAE as their platform to expand their business in the Middle East,” said Dhawan.

The major incentives provided in the ZAFZA zone include zero tax environment and no restrictions on capital repatriation for the new establishments which are willing to invest in the free zone. “As India is already a generic capital of the world and the pharma industry has already captured major western markets, JAFZA is definitely an opportunity for firms to venture into the unexplored markets of Central Asia and Middle East.
